October Projects

I have a had a great last few weeks at work. Namely because I have only worked two days each week the past two weeks! Makes for a much more relaxed mommy...it gave us a chance to do some fun Halloween Projects and cook some 'real food' for Taj. Excuse the following order of photos. They uploaded in backwards from the way I intended!
I was told I needed to pack Taj some real food because he keeps staring at his classmates food. He only has 1.5 teeth (I say .5 because that one 1/2 of one just is barely sticking out) so I worry he will not chew well. I watch him like a hawk at home, but we haven't had any issues so far! So now I've gone to cooking wheat/veggie pasta in chicken/veggie/beef broth, whole green beans, and now mixed veggies to add to his meals at school.

Asher chose this Haunted Mansion to build with his daddy...you can see they take their work very seriously!

8 months for Taj! Just a little late...

Mommy is super late with this post! Taj actually will turn 9 months two days after these were taken! I find myself working or just not available on his actual 'birthday' on the 19th of each month since I went back to work. This month's 9 month birthday, I WILL be home with him. I cannot wait!

Officially in Pre-K 3!

Here we are at meet the teacher day. Asher will start Pre-K 3 five days a week from 9A-12P at Westbury Baptist Day School. We took a nice walk there from home and were able to meet his teacher, Ms. Vicky. She's been there for a long time and even though he was split from some of his usual friends, I know he'll do great with her.
Cannot get enough of the trains wherever he goes!
Busy activity wall!
"CHEESE!"
Here he is with Ms. Vicky. She has pretty strict rules already, as in ZERO chocolate allowed in class. Too funny to me. I say, bring on the discipline! Haha.

August Family Zoo Trip

One thing we have learned as parents of two is that when you want to get out and do something, its best to be the first person there. We decided to get the most of our zoo membership and the 'cooler' weather to check out the zoo! It was Taj's first time and I know he enjoyed it.

Mommy cannot ever get too far from work. I love the view from my patients rooms on the 9th floor looking into the zoo. But of course you cannot get a better view than actually being there. It was nice to see the building nonetheless!
