Asher's safer ride: BMW X3

It's a stick-shift so as to limit those who want to use it. Ha!

Hiding from Mommy

We're very fortunate that every Monday I get to stay home with Asher (pending my final work schedule, otherwise we scramble to find someone on a Monday). This is where grandparents are golden!
We're able to keep him entertained pretty well with toys, books, and such. However, he does find a way to have fun with 'the simple things' too. Silly boy...

Happy Teacher's Week!

Asher's teachers are all so sweet to him at Westbury Baptist School. This was our little 'Thank You' to them for Teacher's Week. You can NEVER go wrong with Crave Cupcakes.

Little Man at Babies R' Us

Asher went ahead and chose a few things with the birthday gift cards he got to Toys R' Us...while shopping however he had some things to say. You can hear him say "Nonna" here.

More Mother's Day at Discovery Green

My mom asked that we attend mass with her (check), go to Porras (check) and just hang out. We had a nice day--despite the overcast clouds which actually made it pleasant--at Discovery Green. Then we went to the Heights to visit my grandmother. You can see Brandon and his 'Mino' (Padrino) being silly above...

Early Mother's Day Celebration at Nani's

The Bird's flew (haha) into town from Washington D.C. along with Ry-guy coming from Broook-lyn to see Donna and Nani. It was a great Pizza Party where we each brought our own--Doug and I chose Napoli.
You can see from the photo how BIG Sir Henry has gotten (my nickname, its not officially his name. Ha).

Asher's Art

Asher is filling the fridge with these little creations from school. His one teachers, Ms. Sylvia absolutely loves him and is also sending him home with litte trinkets for the seasons or special certificates.

First Day at the Beach

We were pretty excited to take Asher for his first 'dip'. I was worried the water would be too cold (it was for me!) but Asher really enjoyed it. I wonder how long it'll be till he's asking for his own 'Spring' and 'Winter' suit (wetsuit) so he can join daddy for his surfing sessions.

Excuse me Mr. Asher, but mommy would like to enjoy her own session first...
